How often does timber need maintenance?
The interval depends on climate and how heavily the area is used. Coastal and strongly sunlit sites need more frequent review. Maintenance mainly means renewing the surface protection and tightening any loosened fixings.
Where should litter bins go?
Near benches and picnic tables, at the natural pause points along pedestrian routes. A bin placed too far away goes unused and waste ends up on the ground. Post-mounted models are fixed down to prevent tipping.
How does a recycling station differ from a litter bin?
Recycling stations have separate compartments for paper, plastic, metal and glass, and exist to separate recyclables at source. Litter bins take mixed waste. In municipal zero-waste schemes the two are planned together.
Does a gazebo need groundwork before installation?
Yes — gazebos are fixed down and require a concrete foundation. We carry out the groundwork and installation; you only need to share your area dimensions.
