Gameday Series Playground Sets

The Gameday Series brings straight slides, spiral slides and enclosed tube slides together in one system across 6 medium-to-large models. Arched roofs, climbing panels, stairs and tunnel links connect the towers. The frame is electrostatically powder-coated steel; panels and slide bodies are surfaces finished for outdoor use.

The design idea is to put several play routes into a single unit. A child who has climbed the same tower can come down a straight slide, a spiral slide or a tunnel — three options matching three levels of nerve and skill. The result is that different ages share the same structure and the queue does not gather at one point. In a busy school yard that distinction is visible on the ground.

The orange-and-blue palette makes the series legible from a distance. Visibility is not purely an aesthetic choice: when the play area can be located from across a large garden, children are less likely to wander outside it and supervision becomes easier. The series is accordingly chosen for residential gardens, school and nursery grounds, hotel play areas and shopping-centre gardens.

Start any selection by measuring the site precisely. What decides whether a set fits is not the structure's own dimensions but the safety area to be left clear around it — markedly larger than the ground footprint, and containing no bench, litter bin, lighting column, tree trunk, kerb or footpath. Dimension tables for this series are not published on the catalogue pages, so we supply the figures in writing at the survey and quotation stage.

The surfacing decision belongs with the equipment decision. The thickness of the impact-absorbing layer follows from the unit's drop height, and the covering must extend over the whole safety area rather than the ground beneath the structure alone. Allow for the area widening in the exit direction of tube and spiral slides. Production falls within the scope of TS EN 1176, the standard covering children's playground equipment.

On age, the series suits mixed use: lower platforms and the straight slide serve younger children, while tube and spiral slides and climbing panels serve those over six. In nursery gardens dominated by very young children, pairing it with a low-platform series gives a better result.

A play area is not one structure. A set from this series establishes its centre, while standalone items such as swings, carousels and spring riders raise capacity and let the space serve several age groups at once. Where budget is spread across phases, the set can go in first and the standalone units follow later; the only condition is that a new unit's safety area must not overlap the set's.

Assembly needs a concrete foundation and anchoring; transport, surfacing and installation are handled by our own team. In maintenance, the interiors of enclosed tube slides need regular cleaning, bolts at connection points should be checked monthly, and panels reviewed annually for UV fading and cracking.
