Forest Series Playground Sets

The Forest Series is built around a green-led palette and leaf-motif panels, with most models carrying more than one tower. It holds 9 models, with towers linked by stairs, bridges and enclosed tube slides. The structure is electrostatically powder-coated steel; panels and decorative surfaces are finished in the colours the theme calls for.

What sets the series apart is not scale so much as simultaneous capacity. On a single-tower unit children queue at the top of the slide; on a multi-tower arrangement several play stations run at once — one group on the bridge, another on a climbing panel, another on the slide. In busy neighbourhood parks, less queuing means fewer pushing incidents and less misuse of the equipment.

Dimensions span a wide range: drop heights of 150–285 cm, peak heights of 420–620 cm, and footprints from 600 × 600 cm to 1300 × 1300 cm. Safety areas run from 900 × 1050 cm up to 1900 × 1900 cm — roughly 95 m² to 361 m². That upper figure makes clear the series belongs in a park-scale site rather than a small garden.

At this scale, layout is a question of circulation as much as of fit. The safety area around the unit must stay clear, and the routes children take to and from it should not cross pedestrian paths or cycle lanes. Benches and litter bins go outside the safety area but within sight of the equipment; a bench from which a parent can watch the play area raises how much that area gets used.

The 150–285 cm spread in drop height changes the surfacing decision from model to model. Units with higher fall points need a thicker impact-absorbing layer, and the surface to be covered is large as well — a 361 m² safety area can mean the flooring line item exceeds the equipment line item. The two decisions belong together. Production follows the scope of TS EN 1176, the standard for playground equipment.

The series suits mixed-age sites: lower platforms and short slides serve younger children, while climbing panels and tall tube slides serve those over six. Even so, where very young children are expected in numbers, a separate small-scale unit alongside works better than one large mixed-age structure.

Installation requires a concrete foundation and anchoring; multi-tower models take longer to assemble than single-tower units and the area has to stay closed for that period. In maintenance the points to watch are the cleanliness of enclosed tube slide interiors, the tightness of bridge connections, and UV-related brittleness in panels.
